Fixes: emails, attachments, the inbox and plenty of small things
The September batch of fixes. Emails got the most attention: a sent attachment is no longer stored twice, Gmail drafts no longer pose as sent emails and the email card shows the real sender. The inbox no longer reports missing feedback for an interview that has not happened yet.
Optional columns in the candidate list and the inbox
Add the columns you care about to a position's candidate list and to the hiring inbox: interview date, task deadline, prescreening date, or whether you have already asked a manager for feedback. The selection is remembered per person.
Reporting you can trust
We went through the reports number by number. Every tile now opens the people behind it: the hires behind time to hire, the closed positions and who joined, candidates by source, the figures on each recruiter. The hiring funnel counts the entry stage correctly, can show the real stages of a chosen process, and the stage table tells you how many applications moved on. Save your filters as the default and switch periods with quick ranges.
Candidate emails: a new tab and bulk sending
The Emails tab on a candidate has a new look. Composing sits at the top, the thread below it collapses, so you do not get lost in a long conversation. Bulk emails to several candidates go out straight from the app instead of opening your mail client. And candidate communication uses the public position title, not the internal one.
We took a break too
If it felt like nothing was happening in heyree in mid-August, that is because nothing was. We were on holiday. The laptops (mostly) stayed at home, and we came back rested and with heads full of ideas. The ones already finished are in the entries that follow.
Invite heyTaker while scheduling the interview
Tick the heyTaker interview notes right in the window where you schedule the interview. The notetaker joins the attendees and connects on its own a minute before the start. In the video call you also recognize it by the frame in heyree colours.
Managers request a new position right in heyree
A hiring manager fills in a short request for a new position, HR sees it in the Requests tab and turns it into a job posting with one click, details prefilled. No more emails back and forth.
Refer a colleague: the employee referral program
The best candidates often come through your own people. The new referral hub gives employees one place to see open positions, refer someone they know and follow how it turned out. You set the rewards and the rules, heyree takes care of the rest.
The new tile dashboard, now for everyone
The dashboard you assemble from tiles yourself is now on for every organization. You pick what you want to see right after logging in, and simply hide what does not interest you.
AI score: you can see it being calculated
After uploading a CV you no longer have to guess whether the AI score is being calculated or waiting for something. The panel shows the evaluation is running, and a manually uploaded CV gets its score reliably. Tugedr joined the list of candidate sources.
